Serving Suggestions:

  • Pair with a Hot Tea – Serve alongside a warm cup of green tea or chai to complement the matcha flavor and create the perfect afternoon tea experience.

  • Add a Sweet Dip – Try dipping them in white chocolate or a light glaze for an extra touch of sweetness.

  • Gift Idea – These cookies make a great homemade gift—wrap them in a cute box or jar with a sprig of rosemary or lavender for a thoughtful touch.

Helpful Tips:

  • Sift the Matcha – To avoid clumps and ensure an even color and flavor, sift the matcha powder before adding it to the dough.

  • Chill the Dough – Try to chill the dough for at least an hour before baking. This helps the cookies hold their shape and get that perfect crumbly texture.

  • Bake with Care – Keep an eye on the cookies while they bake; they should be lightly golden around the edges, but don’t let them brown too much to maintain the delicate matcha flavor.
