Serving Suggestions:

  • Paired with a Warm Drink – Enjoy your matcha muffins with a cup of herbal tea or hot cocoa for a cozy treat.

  • With Honey or Maple Butter – Spread a warm muffin with a little honey or maple butter for extra richness.

  • Served with Fresh Fruit – Pair them with sliced oranges, strawberries, or bananas for a refreshing balance.

Helpful Tips:

  • Don’t Overmix the Batter – Stir just until the ingredients are combined; overmixing can make muffins dense instead of light and fluffy.

  • Check for Doneness Properly – Insert a toothpick into the center; if it comes out with just a few crumbs (not wet batter), they’re ready.

  • Let Them Cool Slightly – Allow muffins to cool in the pan for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. This prevents soggy bottoms while keeping them moist.
