Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:
12 oz fettuccine pasta
½ cup unsalted butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.
Add butter into the skillet and heat it. Add heavy cream and simmer it.
Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Season the sauce with salt and ground black pepper to taste.
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the Alfredo sauce.
Serve!
