Fettuccine Alfredo

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta

  • ½ cup unsalted butter

  • 1 cup heavy cream

  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • Salt and ground black pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water.

  • Add butter into the skillet and heat it. Add heavy cream and simmer it.

  • Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Season the sauce with salt and ground black pepper to taste.

  • Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated in the Alfredo sauce.

  • Serve!
